Owen Jones vs George Woodman

Boxing Daily Report from the Sijabala Promotions promoted show at Huntsville Clough, Huntsville,  taking place on 03/05/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Jones (5 - 4(3)) who hails from Tuscaloosa, USA and George Woodman(15 - 19 - 1) from Montgomery, USA.  Both Jones and Woodman weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Bateman, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Dunn, Zachary Caffrey and Kenzie Lovett.  

Round 1: 

Jones is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Jones manouvers Woodman into a corner.  Jones throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Jones clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jones pushes his forearm into Woodman's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Jones to stop fouling.  
Jones lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Jones connects with a right uppercut.  
Jones closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  Jones clinches his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Woodman hits home with a left uppercut.  
Jones closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Jones gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.

Jones uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Woodman's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Woodman's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Woodman's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Woodman's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
