Satoru Noguchi vs Dai Watanabe

Boxing Daily Report from the Paintsil Promotions promoted show at Iwao Takashima Gym, Matsudo,  taking place on 07/05/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Satoru Noguchi (5 - 17 - 2) who hails from Matsudo, Japan and Dai Watanabe(11 - 21(1) - 5 - 1(NC)) from Matsudo, Japan.  Both Noguchi and Watanabe weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yoshi Nomura, and the three ringside judges are Michi Sakamoto, Kaede Ishimoto and Yuichi Kaba.  

Round 1: 

Watanabe is looking to close the distance.  Noguchi is on target with a right hook.

Watanabe's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Watanabe's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Watanabe dabs at his face checking for damage.  Watanabe has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
