Gus McIver vs Owen Newell

Boxing Daily Report from the Sihumbwa Promotions promoted show at Milwaukee Dredge, Milwaukee,  taking place on 06/05/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus McIver (23(6) - 5) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Owen Newell(17 - 18(3) - 3) from Madison, USA.  McIver weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces, while Newell weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dan Fentress, and the three ringside judges are Vincent Elias, John Peart and Andy Mateer.  

Round 1: 

McIver advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Newell's liver.  McIver clinches his opponent.  McIver is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McIver about fouling.
