Jaguar Mercedes vs Fresco Salinas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Criado, Mexico City,  taking place on 07/05/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jaguar Mercedes (10 - 11 - 4) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Fresco Salinas(17 - 6 - 5) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Mercedes and Salinas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Porro, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Calistro, Santiago Limon and Carlos Santistevan.

Salinas backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Mercedes accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Salinas.
