Chris Hewitson vs Paul Stoddart

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 22/05/2038:

Clearly James Saint-Claire have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Australia-Queensland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Hewitson (28(19) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Paul Stoddart(7 - 6(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Hewitson and Stoddart weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Phaup, and the three ringside judges are Neil Pembroke, Seth Urbano and Bruce Kay.  

Round 1: 

Stoddart attempts to land a right hook, but Hewitson sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Stoddart throws a left uppercut, but Hewitson ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hewitson pushes his forearm into Stoddart's face.  The ref breaks Hewitson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Hewitson advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Hewitson clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hewitson pushes his forearm into Stoddart's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hewitson about fouling.  
Hewitson lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Hewitson clinches his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hewitson steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hewitson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stoddart is on target with a jab.  Stoddart throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Hewitson gets on the inside.  Hewitson lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hewitson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hewitson closes the distance.  Hewitson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Stoddart's body.  
Hewitson hits home with a sharp jab.  
Hewitson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hewitson is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Hewitson walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stoddart throws a right hook, but Hewitson holds on to his opponent.  Hewitson throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Stoddart is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Hewitson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hewitson digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Hewitson is on target with a jab.  
Hewitson is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hewitson digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hewitson lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hewitson is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hewitson clinches his opponent.  Hewitson uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Stoddart's kidney. Hewitson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  Stoddart quickly recovers.

Stoddart steps to the outside.  Hewitson finds the target with a jab.  
Hewitson closes the distance.  Hewitson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Stoddart almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Stoddart's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Stoddart's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Stoddart's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Hewitson lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Hewitson sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Hewitson lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING STODDART TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Stoddart has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hewitson advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Hewitson ties up his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hewitson is on target with a stinging right hook to Stoddart's ribs.  
Hewitson manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hewitson lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Stoddart almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Hewitson lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hewitson pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stoddart is looking to keep his distance.  Hewitson snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  Hewitson tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hewitson gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Hewitson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hewitson digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Hewitson gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Hewitson clinches his opponent.  Hewitson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Hewitson and breaks the clinch.

Hewitson clinches his opponent.  Hewitson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hewitson.

Hewitson lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND STODDART IS DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Hewitson!
