Esteban Blandon vs Joseph Binion

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Providence Performing Arts Center, Providence,  taking place on 28/05/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Esteban Blandon (14(6) - 0) who hails from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic and Joseph Binion(15 - 12(1) - 4) from Chesapeake, USA.  Both Blandon and Binion weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Littlejohn, and the three ringside judges are Declan Hernandez, Charlie Mate and Peter Echevarria.  

Round 1: 

Blandon lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Binion lands a cross.  
Blandon steps inside.  Blandon drives a left hook into Binion's body.  
Blandon digs in a left uppercut to Binion's ribs.  
Binion quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blandon hits home with a cross.  
Blandon steps inside.  Blandon pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Blandon lands a sharp jab.  
Binion quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blandon lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Blandon lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Blandon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Blandon lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Blandon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Blandon pushes his forearm into Binion's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Blandon to stop fouling.  
Blandon lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Blandon clinches his opponent.  Blandon uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Binion behind the head. Blandon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Blandon digs in a right hook to Binion's ribcage.  
Blandon steps inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Blandon holds on to his opponent.  Blandon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Binion pushes his forearm into Blandon's face.  The referee warns Binion and breaks the clinch.  
Binion walks Blandon onto the ropes.  Binion sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Blandon lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Blandon lands a stiff jab.  
Blandon gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Blandon pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Blandon pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Binion's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Binion's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Binion's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Blandon gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Blandon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Binion tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Blandon slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Blandon leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Binion steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Blandon steps inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Binion sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Blandon is on target with a firm right hook.  
Binion pivots to the left of his opponent.  Binion throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

The ref breaks Blandon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Blandon is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to Binion's body.

Blandon steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Binion almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Blandon gets on the inside and lands a firm right hook.  
Blandon lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

You can sense the frustration from Binion now.   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Blandon's groin!  The ref halts the action and sends Blandon to the neutral corner.    He warns Binion that he is heading for a point deduction.
