Ross McDermott vs Daniel MacClelland

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at John Cary Gym, Drogheda,  taking place on 26/10/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ross McDermott (7 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Daniel MacClelland(5 - 2 - 2) from Galway, Ireland.  Both McDermott and MacClelland weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Stewart, and the three ringside judges are Sam Mulryan, Brett Rabbitt and Sam Mulryan.
