James Angelopoulos vs Duncan Barclay

Boxing Daily Report from the Kayo Promotions promoted show at Rydges Lakeside Canberra Hotel, Canberra,  taking place on 24/05/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Angelopoulos (11 - 15(1) - 2) who hails from Canberra, Australia and Duncan Barclay(2 - 4 - 2) from Canberra, Australia.  Angelopoulos weighed in at 229 pounds and 10 ounces, while Barclay weighed in at 240 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neil Cookston, and the three ringside judges are Bob Ivory, John Hakopyan and Noel Wilson.  

Round 1: 

Angelopoulos hits home with a right uppercut.  
Barclay is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barclay dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Angelopoulos manouvers Barclay onto the ropes.  Barclay lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Barclay attempts to land a left uppercut, but Angelopoulos sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Barclay steps inside.  Angelopoulos pivots to the left of his opponent.  Angelopoulos attempts to land a left uppercut, but Barclay parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Angelopoulos steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Angelopoulos's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Barclay's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Barclay's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Barclay wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Angelopoulos.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Barclay gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Barclay closes the distance.  Angelopoulos digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Angelopoulos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.
