Cortez Mare vs Marjun Fabela

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Arena Coliseo, Mexico City,  taking place on 03/07/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cortez Mare (17(13) - 0) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Marjun Fabela(9(2) - 3) from Saltillo, Mexico.  Both Mare and Fabela weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Larenzo Calvillo, and the three ringside judges are Quito Tostado, Ponce Lugo and Berto Virgen.  

Round 1:

Mare lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS FABELA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  However, the ref is not convinced Fabela is fit to continue. He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Mare!
