Fraser Laxa vs Diego Mingo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, Manila,  taking place on 26/06/2038:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fraser Laxa (27(24) - 2(2)) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Diego Mingo(29(2) - 7 - 1) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Both Laxa and Mingo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ignado Rota, and the three ringside judges are Juan Palacay, Vicente Vielma and Paul Magpale.  

Round 1: 

Laxa is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Laxa feints a right, and then finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Laxa lands a CRUSHING cross.  MINGO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mingo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Laxa waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Mingo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Laxa switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Laxa connects with a CRUSHING cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MINGO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mingo quickly recovers. 
Laxa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Laxa steps away from his opponent and lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Laxa lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Mingo walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Mingo tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  MINGO IS HURT!  Mingo quickly recovers.
