Dave Frashier vs Ellis Gethin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Pennison, Christchurch,  taking place on 31/05/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Frashier (3 - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ellis Gethin(5 - 4) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Frashier and Gethin weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Haxton, and the three ringside judges are David Neild, Robert Laramore and Ian Webb.  

Round 1: 

Frashier is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Frashier closes the distance.  Gethin is on target with a left hook.
