Sone Inyam vs Yakubu Amalaha

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at D'Rovans Hotel, Ibadan,  taking place on 02/06/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Oyo State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sone Inyam (16 - 2(1) - 2) who hails from Ogbomosho, Nigeria and Yakubu Amalaha(50(29) - 10(1) - 2) from Ibadan, Nigeria.  Both Inyam and Amalaha weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ifeanyi Dosunmu, and the three ringside judges are Jay-Jay Ameobi, Irfan Younan and Thompson Ifejiagwa.  

Round 1:

Amalaha closes the distance and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Amalaha clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Amalaha pushes his forearm into Inyam's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Amalaha walks Inyam down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Amalaha lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Amalaha holds on to his opponent.  Amalaha is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Inyam steps to the outside.  Amalaha feints a jab, tricking Inyam into throwing a right hook counter.  Amalaha avoids the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Amalaha steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Amalaha advances into close range and manages to force Inyam into the blue corner.  Amalaha is on target with a sharp left hook to Inyam's liver.  
Amalaha lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head.

Inyam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Amalaha drives a sharp right hook into Inyam's body.  
Amalaha is on target with a left hook.  
Amalaha walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Amalaha lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Amalaha is on target with a left uppercut to Inyam's body.  Amalaha holds on to his opponent.  Amalaha pushes his forearm into Inyam's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Amalaha.  
Inyam tries to keep the action at long range.  Amalaha feints a jab, fooling Inyam into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Amalaha springs the trap and counters with  a right hook.

Inyam tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Amalaha slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Amalaha is looking to close the distance.  Inyam pivots to the left of his opponent.  Amalaha lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Amalaha clinches his opponent.  Amalaha leans on his opponent using all his weight. Amalaha uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Inyam behind the head. 
Amalaha is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Amalaha clinches his opponent.  Amalaha leans on his opponent using all his weight. Amalaha is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Amalaha is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Amalaha lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS INYAM TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Inyam cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Amalaha!
