Dominic Nicholson vs Mike Gowen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Catterson, Christchurch,  taking place on 15/06/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dominic Nicholson (17 - 6(2) - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mike Gowen(17(1) - 10(1)) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Nicholson and Gowen weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Breck, and the three ringside judges are Ian Duff, Ian Dixon and Richard Kier.
