Carlos Becerra vs Ulises Cepero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Lima Salvador, Lima,  taking place on 16/06/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Becerra (11 - 23(3) - 7) who hails from Lima, Peru and Ulises Cepero(16(8) - 1 - 1) from Chiclayo, Peru.  Both Becerra and Cepero weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaver Armando, and the three ringside judges are Frisco Calle, Quin Morua and Orlando Blando.  

Round 1: 

Becerra pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cepero connects with a right uppercut.  
Cepero manouvers Becerra into the corner.  Cepero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Cepero lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Becerra throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Cepero throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Cepero clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cepero pushes his forearm into Becerra's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Cepero is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.
