Dario Milan vs Saturnin Ascencio

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalinaki Promotions promoted show at Cartagena Calma, Cartagena,  taking place on 19/06/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Bolivar Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dario Milan (26(10) - 9) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Saturnin Ascencio(21 - 17(6) - 1) from Cartagena, Colombia.  Milan weighed in at 199 pounds And 10 ounces, while Ascencio weighed in at 200 pounds And 10 ounces.    As Ascencio came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Diego Campuzano, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Belmontes, Fidel Canizales and Joaquin Matas.

Milan is looking to close the distance.  Milan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ascencio connects with a left hook.  
Milan lands a solid left hook.  
Milan steps inside.  Milan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Milan connects with a right uppercut.  
Milan closes the distance.  Milan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Milan connects with a right hook.  
Milan closes the distance.  Ascencio lands a left hook.  
Milan finds the target with a jab.  
Milan advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Milan hits home with a right hook.  
Milan lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Milan walks Ascencio down, trapping him in the corner.  Milan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Milan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Milan lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Milan lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Milan pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Milan steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Milan ties up his opponent.  Ascencio throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Milan lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Milan lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Milan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Ascencio closes the distance.  Milan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Milan gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ascencio is on target with a cross.  
Milan tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a jab to the body.  
Milan is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Ascencio in a corner.  Milan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Milan is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Milan steps inside.  Milan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Milan tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a VICIOUS cross.  ASCENCIO IS HURT!  
Milan gets on the inside.  Milan stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Milan lands two left uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS ASCENCIO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Milan stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Milan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING ASCENCIO DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Milan!
