Matti Vatoren vs Pirkka Merikanto

Boxing Daily Report from the Acquaah Promotions promoted show at Espoo Jokela, Espoo,  taking place on 22/06/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matti Vatoren (28 - 4(3)) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Pirkka Merikanto(13 - 6(5) - 1) from Vantaa, Finland.  Both Vatoren and Merikanto weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Toni Sandemo, and the three ringside judges are Matteus Vaatainen, Tiitus Lansivuori and Heimo Airikkala.
