Ballard Pehl vs Orbert Gerten

Boxing Daily Report from the Cherkoian Promotions promoted show at Braunschweig Demmer, Braunschweig,  taking place on 24/06/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Lower Saxony Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ballard Pehl (10 - 13(3) - 1) who hails from Hanover, Germany and Orbert Gerten(9 - 0) from Hanover, Germany.  Both Pehl and Gerten weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Burk Alberding, and the three ringside judges are Baltasar Markert, Jaye Dehner and Ivo Giedd.  

Round 1: 

Pehl hits home with an overhand left.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
