Arseni Shakhrai vs Aleksei Mogilny

Boxing Daily Report from the Ring star promoted show at Yubileyny Sports Palace, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 07/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Russia-Saint Petersburg Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arseni Shakhrai (27(8) - 4) who hails from Saint Petersburg, Russia and Aleksei Mogilny(13 - 7(1)) from Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Shakhrai weighed in at 160 pounds, while Mogilny weighed in at 159 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Timofei Mazunov, and the three ringside judges are Kolzak Drachev, Anton Karmazin and Dimi Kovalik.  

Round 1: 

Shakhrai gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mogilny is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land an overhand right, but Shakhrai blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shakhrai closes the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Mogilny is looking to keep his distance.  Mogilny sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Shakhrai lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Shakhrai closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Shakhrai digs in a firm left uppercut to Mogilny's body.

Mogilny pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shakhrai drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Shakhrai steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Shakhrai drives a firm left hook into Mogilny's body.  
Shakhrai cuts off the ring, trapping Mogilny on the ropes.  Shakhrai lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shakhrai closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Shakhrai advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Shakhrai ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Shakhrai pushes his forearm into Mogilny's face.  The ref breaks Shakhrai's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Shakhrai digs in a stinging right hook to Mogilny's body.  MOGILNY IS HURT!  
Shakhrai is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Shakhrai lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING MOGILNY TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Shakhrai lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  It looks like Mogilny has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

The winner by KO is Shakhrai!
