Nemesio Betancourt vs Ryo Osada

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Shojima Gymnasium, Kurume,  taking place on 14/07/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Nemesio Betancourt (2(2) - 0) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Ryo Osada(18 - 16(1) - 4) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Betancourt and Osada weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aki Nishimoto, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Kusumoto, Takeshi Murayama and Naoki Matsumura.  

Round 1: 

Osada throws a left hook, but Betancourt holds on to his opponent.  Betancourt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Betancourt lands a left hook to the body followed by two straights to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Osada almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Betancourt closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head, DROPPING OSADA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Betancourt ties up his opponent.  Betancourt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Osada almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Betancourt lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Betancourt ties up his opponent.  Betancourt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Betancourt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Betancourt's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Osada is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Betancourt circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Osada tries to land an overhand right, but Betancourt sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Betancourt lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Betancourt drives a left uppercut into Osada's body.  
Betancourt lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Osada is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Betancourt gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Betancourt clinches his opponent.  Betancourt leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Betancourt's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Betancourt finds the target with a jab.  
Betancourt closes the distance.  Betancourt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Osada throws a right hook, but Betancourt holds on to his opponent.  Betancourt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Betancourt pushes his forearm into Osada's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Betancourt about fouling.  
Osada lands a right hook.  Betancourt clinches his opponent.  Betancourt leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Betancourt gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Osada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Betancourt lands a MASSIVE left hook.  OSADA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Betancourt steps inside.  Betancourt stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Betancourt lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND OSADA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Osada now seems to have his senses back.  
Betancourt lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Betancourt lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Betancourt clinches his opponent.  Betancourt leans on his opponent using all his weight. Betancourt tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Osada behind the head. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Osada's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Osada's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Betancourt gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Betancourt holds on to his opponent.  Betancourt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Betancourt pushes his forearm into Osada's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Betancourt.  
Betancourt drives a left uppercut into Osada's body.  
Betancourt throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Betancourt clinches his opponent.  Betancourt leans on his opponent using all his weight. Betancourt uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Osada behind the head. 
Osada throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a WICKED right hook.  OSADA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Osada almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Osada attempts to land a right uppercut, but Betancourt sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Osada's ribs.  
Betancourt gets on the inside.  Betancourt pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Osada pivots to the right of his opponent.  Betancourt lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Betancourt steps inside.  Betancourt pivots to the left of his opponent.  Betancourt lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Betancourt holds on to his opponent.  Betancourt leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Betancourt sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Betancourt whips in a spiteful left hook to Osada's liver.  OSADA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Osada has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Betancourt is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Betancourt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Osada's body.  
Betancourt lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND OSADA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Betancourt!
