Joey Saam vs Krystian Syzdek

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 23/10/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Big Bam Saam (58(53) - 2(1)) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Krystian Syzdek(34(1) - 11(5)) from Czestochowa, Poland.  Saam weighed in at 135 pounds, while Syzdek weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Hai, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Naqvi, Sam Powell and Mike Sander.  

Round 1: 

Saam gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Saam lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Saam is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Saam lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Syzdek almost instantly gets his legs back.

Syzdek connects with a right hook.  Saam holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Saam pushes his forearm into Syzdek's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Saam closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Saam tries to land a right hook, but Syzdek parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Syzdek is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Saam connects with a left hook.  Saam tries to land a cross, but Syzdek slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Syzdek sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Saam is on target with a nasty left hook.  SYZDEK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Saam senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Saam is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  SYZDEK HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Syzdek now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Saam gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right uppercut to Syzdek's body.  Saam holds on to his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Syzdek lands a sharp jab.  
Saam closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Syzdek's ribs.  
Saam attempts to land a jab, but Syzdek blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Syzdek manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Saam is on target with a solid right uppercut.  Saam tries to land a cross, but Syzdek dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Syzdek throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a FEROCIOUS cross.  SYZDEK IS HURT!  Syzdek almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Saam is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Saam steps inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Syzdek feints a cross, and then lands a cross.  
Syzdek attempts to land a jab, but Saam slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Saam steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Saam lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Syzdek attempts to land a jab, but Saam slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Syzdek is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Saam is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Saam is on target with a potent right hook to Syzdek's body.  SYZDEK IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Saam!
