Moses Bassey vs Lukman Akhigbe

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Umuahia Township Stadium, Umuahia,  taking place on 11/09/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Abia State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Moses Bassey (22 - 2) who hails from Umuahia, Nigeria and Lukman Akhigbe(9(1) - 1) from Aba, Nigeria.  Bassey weighed in at 147 pounds and 8 ounces, while Akhigbe weighed in at 146 pounds and 8 ounces.    As Bassey came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Emem Gberu, and the three ringside judges are Ali Sharaf, Nwankwo Nwoke and Ibrahim Iman.
