Neil Skene vs Ellis Dewey

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 30/10/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Americas Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Neil Skene (34(27) - 1(1)) who hails from Boston, USA and Ellis Dewey(35(6) - 13(3)) from Wichita, USA.  Both Skene and Dewey weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Kemble, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Hughen, Josh Butchart and Denton Philip.  

Round 1: 

Skene throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Skene drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Dewey is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Skene is on target with a stiff jab.  Skene throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dewey drives a right uppercut into Skene's ribcage.  
Skene is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Skene lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Dewey attempts to land a jab, but Skene sidesteps and counters with a mean left hook.  DEWEY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Dewey quickly recovers.

Dewey gets on the inside.  Dewey drives a left hook into Skene's ribs.  As Skene tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dewey dabs at his face checking for damage.

Skene lands a FIERCE overhand left.  IT LOOKS LIKE DEWEY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Skene throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  Dewey almost instantly gets his legs back.
