Justin Williams vs Mike Cormack

Boxing Daily Report from the VictoryBoxing promoted show at Toronto Munro, Toronto,  taking place on 17/09/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Williams (8 - 12(1) - 3) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Mike Cormack(13 - 24 - 5) from Mississauga, Canada.  Both Williams and Cormack weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Lockerby, and the three ringside judges are Leo Gaddie, Ethan Crighton and David Mason.  

Round 1: 

Williams is on target with a cross.

Williams tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cormack closes the distance.  Cormack sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Williams connects with a right hook.  Williams tries to land a right hook, but Cormack blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cormack pivots from in front of his opponent and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Williams's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Williams steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Cormack sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Williams's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cormack's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Williams tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand right.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Cormack has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the right eye.  
Cormack closes the distance and manages to force Williams onto the ropes.  As Cormack tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Williams.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Cormack closes the distance.  Cormack pivots to the left of his opponent.  Williams lands a right hook.  
Cormack is on target with a right hook.  
Cormack sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Williams's body.
