Cumhur Onal vs Serhat Melen

Boxing Daily Report from the Tsunami Promotions promoted show at Istanbul Aksoy, Istanbul,  taking place on 14/10/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Turkey-Istanbul Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cumhur Onal (18 - 6 - 1) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Serhat Melen(6 - 5 - 5) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Onal weighed in at 117 pounds And 14 ounces, while Melen weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ozgur Atalar, and the three ringside judges are Asil Karabacak, Tolga Basharan and Levent Bahar.  

Round 1: 

Melen advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Onal pivots from in front of his opponent.  Melen wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Onal has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Melen tries to land a left uppercut, but Onal slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
As Onal tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Melen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Onal finds the target with a jab.  
Melen advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Onal's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Onal's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
