Martyn Braden vs Robert Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the Terry Promotions promoted show at Swansea Prichard, Swansea,  taking place on 18/10/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Martyn Braden (6 - 2 - 2) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Robert Hughes(13 - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Braden weighed in at 160 pounds, while Hughes weighed in at 159 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Yasin Ozer and Dale Carrick.  

Round 1: 

Hughes is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Hughes walks Braden into the corner.  Hughes drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.

As they grapple, Hughes pushes his forearm into Braden's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Hughes tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Hughes lands a left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Braden dabs at his face checking for damage.
