Gianfranco Pirilli vs Alberto Palagi

Boxing Daily Report from the seba promote promoted show at Milan Maldini, Milan,  taking place on 26/10/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Lombardy Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianfranco Pirilli (16 - 7 - 2) who hails from Milan, Italy and Alberto Palagi(5 - 1 - 2) from Milan, Italy.  Both Pirilli and Palagi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tito Maceratini, and the three ringside judges are Francesco Parodi, Vicenzo Cichetti and Colombo Bianchi.  

Round 1: 

Palagi closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pirilli is looking to keep his distance.  Palagi lands a cross.

Palagi advances into close range and manouvers Pirilli into the corner.  Palagi pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.

Palagi advances into close range.  Palagi goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Pirilli to the neutral corner.  He warns Palagi to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Palagi's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
