Chinedu Razaq vs Azubuike Akinyede

Boxing Daily Report from the Vartughian Promotions promoted show at Efe Adelabu Gym, Ilesa,  taking place on 29/10/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Osun State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chinedu Razaq (1 - 3 - 1) who hails from Ife, Nigeria and Azubuike Akinyede(1 - 2 - 1) from Ife, Nigeria.  Razaq weighed in at 147 pounds, while Akinyede weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haider Zahra, and the three ringside judges are Godfrey Nduka, Mudashiru Ebor and Mfon Nemine.  

Round 1:

As Akinyede tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Razaq dabs at his face checking for damage.  Razaq has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
