John Wight vs Rodrigo Forero

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 08/01/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Southern John Wight (46(35) - 2 - 2) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Rodrigo Forero(26 - 5(2)) from Cartagena, Colombia.  Both Wight and Forero weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Spang, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Lesley, Alen Pryor and Daniel Weir.  

Round 1: 

Wight feints a jab, and then connects with a solid cross.  
Forero advances into close range and manages to force Wight onto the ropes.  Forero is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Forero connects with a left hook.  
Wight steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Forero is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Forero attempts to land a right hook, but Wight blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Forero gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Wight blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Wight lands an overhand right.  
Wight lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Forero gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Wight parries the shot and counters with a FIERCE left uppercut.  FORERO IS HURT!  
Wight tries to step out of his opponents range.  Some sustained pressure from Wight could be enough to finish Forero!  Wight lands a cross, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND FORERO IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Forero now seems to have got his legs back.  
Wight sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Forero recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Forero advances into close range.  Wight lands a right hook.  
Wight steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND FORERO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Wight!
