Kenzie Pert vs Hamakona Otimi

Boxing Daily Report from the Global Boxing Federation promoted show at Melbourne Hilley, Melbourne,  taking place on 30/10/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kenzie Pert (8 - 5(4)) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Hamakona Otimi(15(8) - 9(1)) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Pert weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces, while Otimi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Niven, and the three ringside judges are Euan Kier, Leighton Taylor and John Kissick.  

Round 1: 

Otimi advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Otimi walks his opponent into the red corner.  Otimi connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Pert throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook to Pert's ribs.  
Pert is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to Otimi's body.  
Otimi gets on the inside.  Otimi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Otimi throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Otimi holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Otimi pushes his forearm into Pert's face.  The ref breaks Otimi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pert is looking to keep his distance and drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Pert tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pert is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Otimi gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Pert recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Otimi digs in a stinging right hook to Pert's body.  Otimi clinches his opponent.  Otimi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Otimi steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING PERT TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Otimi holds on to his opponent. Otimi drives a sharp right hook into Pert's body.

Pert switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  Pert tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Pert attempts to land an overhand right, but Otimi slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Pert hits home with a cross.  
Otimi advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Pert's body.  
Otimi digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.

Otimi gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS PERT TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Pert recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Otimi walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Otimi drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Pert steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Pert throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Otimi steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Otimi closes the distance and manages to force Pert onto the ropes.  Otimi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
