Ifeanyi Imasuen vs Nelson Amosun

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Ifeanyi Isola Gym, Offa,  taking place on 01/11/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kwara State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ifeanyi Imasuen (6(3) - 6) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Nelson Amosun(8 - 7(1) - 2) from Offa, Nigeria.  Both Imasuen and Amosun weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Kalil, and the three ringside judges are Asif Hussain, Gazi Ansari and Olufemi Botmang.  

Round 1: 

Imasuen gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Imasuen tries to land a jab, but Amosun slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Imasuen lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Imasuen closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Imasuen gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Amosun's body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Amosun dabs at his face checking for damage.  Amosun recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Imasuen manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Imasuen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Amosun now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Imasuen gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Amosun's liver.  
Imasuen hits home with a right hook.  
Imasuen is on target with a right hook to Amosun's ribs.  
Amosun pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Amosun's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Amosun's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
