Bilal Arshad vs Yakubu Okoye

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Adusei Gym, Maiduguri,  taking place on 11/11/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bilal Arshad (17(7) - 1(1) - 2) who hails from Bama, Nigeria and Yakubu Okoye(9 - 30(1) - 4) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Arshad and Okoye weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Igbinadolor, and the three ringside judges are Theophilus Aliu, Shehu Akande and Waleed Akhter.  

Round 1: 

Arshad is on target with a sharp cross.  
Okoye closes the distance.  Arshad pivots from in front of his opponent.  Arshad lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Arshad clinches his opponent.  Arshad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Okoye gets on the inside.  Arshad pivots from in front of his opponent.  Arshad drives a sharp left hook into Okoye's liver.  Arshad clinches his opponent.  Arshad is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Arshad's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Okoye sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.

Arshad pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Okoye gets on the inside.  Arshad lands a solid left hook.  Arshad ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Arshad pushes his forearm into Okoye's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Arshad tries to keep the action at long range.  Arshad feints a right hook, and then hits home with a stinging jab.  
Okoye advances into close range.  Arshad voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Okoye steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.

Okoye gets on the inside.  Okoye sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Okoye throws a right hook, but Arshad holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Arshad pushes his forearm into Okoye's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Arshad.  
Okoye closes the distance.  Okoye sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Arshad hits home with a right hook.  
Arshad is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Okoye quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Arshad lands a cross.  
Okoye throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.
