Carlos Merlo vs Onofre Alvaro

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Havana Bosquez, Havana,  taking place on 22/11/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Merlo (7 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Onofre Alvaro(14 - 15 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Merlo weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Alvaro weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Villavicencio, and the three ringside judges are Juan Ledezma, Cortez Bastidas and Luis Cruz.
