Clinton Granado vs John Shortt

Boxing Daily Report from the Fernando Hearn promoted show at Tampa Tarbet, Tampa,  taking place on 18/11/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Florida Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Clinton Granado (25(6) - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Gainesville, USA and John Shortt(14 - 17(2) - 6) from Miami, USA.  Both Granado and Shortt weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Mathison, and the three ringside judges are David Carias, Lloyd Purse and Cole Ghant.  

Round 1: 

Granado is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Granado lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Shortt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Granado lands a straight 1 - 2.
