Robert Atkins vs Ian Claghorn

Boxing Daily Report from the High Stake Promtions promoted show at Bart Menia Gym, Paterson,  taking place on 06/12/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Atkins (6 - 13(1) - 1) who hails from Paterson, USA and Ian Claghorn(7 - 19(1) - 2) from Paterson, USA.  Both Atkins and Claghorn weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Leaper, and the three ringside judges are Ewan McLoughlin, Jamie Loudon and Valentino Brunelli.  

Round 1: 

Claghorn closes the distance.  Atkins connects with a right hook.  
Atkins is on target with a cross.  Atkins throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Claghorn's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Atkins's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Claghorn's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Claghorn's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
