Gonzalo Cabanas vs Santiago Barreras

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Francisco Morazan promoted show at Tegucigalpa Herro, Tegucigalpa,  taking place on 16/12/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gonzalo Cabanas (8 - 16(1) - 9) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Santiago Barreras(26 - 14(3) - 2) from Choloma, Honduras.  Cabanas weighed in at 200 pounds And 8 ounces, while Barreras weighed in at 199 pounds And 8 ounces.    As Cabanas came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Oleos Ossa, and the three ringside judges are Fausto Zaragoza, Cuba Mendosa and Carlos Augusto.
