Boxing Daily Report from the AI Austria-Styria promoted show at Christoffer Rechlewski Gym, Graz,  taking place on 17/12/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Austria-Styria Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arend Jakobi (17(15) - 8(1)) who hails from Graz, Austria and Durin Matefs(1 - 0) from Graz, Austria.  Both Jakobi and Matefs weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Decker Set, and the three ringside judges are Hobbard Zin, Boell Bachl and Decker Set.  

Round 1: 

Matefs gets on the inside.  Jakobi throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Jakobi holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Matefs pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross.

Jakobi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Matefs steps inside.  Matefs pivots to the right of his opponent.  Matefs throws a right hook, but Jakobi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jakobi pushes his forearm into Matefs's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jakobi lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Matefs recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Matefs advances into close range.  Matefs pivots to the right of his opponent.  Matefs throws a right uppercut, but Jakobi ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jakobi pushes his forearm into Matefs's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Matefs is looking to close the distance.  Jakobi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jakobi throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Jakobi clinches his opponent.  Jakobi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Jakobi switches the action to the outside.  Matefs quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jakobi throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Jakobi feints a left hook, but Matefs does not fall for it and responds with a right uppercut to Jakobi's ribcage.  
Jakobi is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Matefs advances into close range.  Jakobi lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Jakobi tries to keep the action at long range.  Matefs circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Jakobi connects with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jakobi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Matefs's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Jakobi hits home with a solid right hook.  Jakobi attempts to land a right hook, but Matefs blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jakobi steps to the outside and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Jakobi hits home with a solid cross.  
Matefs hits home with a left uppercut.  
Matefs is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Jakobi's body.  
Matefs pivots to the side of his opponent.  Jakobi hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Matefs quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Jakobi is on target with a VICIOUS left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MATEFS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Jakobi could be enough to force the stoppage!  Jakobi lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head, AND MATEFS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Jakobi!
