Jax Arce vs Neper Mare

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bolivia-Cochabamba promoted show at Senon Salas Gym, Sacaba,  taking place on 19/12/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-Cochabamba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Arce (11 - 4 - 4) who hails from Cochabamba, Bolivia and Neper Mare(1 - 10 - 1) from Cochabamba, Bolivia.  Both Arce and Mare weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Selestino Baez, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Marinez, Vicente Salcedo and Roman Quirino.  

Round 1: 

Arce finds the target with a jab.  
Arce steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Mare in a corner.  Arce throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Arce sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mare drives a left uppercut into Arce's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mare's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Mare's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mare cuts off the ring, trapping Arce in the corner.  Mare connects with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Arce dabs at his face checking for damage.  Arce has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a minor cut above.
