Jing Mei vs Jun Wen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Hunan promoted show at Sun Yuan Gym, Changsha,  taking place on 20/12/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Hunan Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jing Mei (3 - 2) who hails from Changde, China and Jun The Beijing Bomber Wen(41(38) - 12(7)) from Hengyang, China.  Both Mei and Wen weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ho Pai, and the three ringside judges are Li Kee, HuiK'o Tay and Yo Yong.  

Round 1: 

Wen closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Mei's body.  Wen ties up his opponent.  Wen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wen.  
Mei hits home with a right hook.  
Mei throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Wen lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Wen is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wen hits home with a firm left uppercut.  Wen clinches his opponent.  Wen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wen.  
Wen cuts off the ring, trapping Mei in a corner.  Mei throws a left uppercut, but Wen holds on to his opponent.  Wen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Wen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mei hits home with an overhand right.  
Wen lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Wen ties up his opponent.  Wen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wen drives a sharp left uppercut into Mei's liver.  Wen holds on to his opponent.  Mei leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Mei pushes his forearm into Wen's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mei.  
Mei steps away from his opponent.  Wen lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Wen advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Wen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wen lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Wen holds on to his opponent.  Wen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wen manouvers Mei into the corner.  Wen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wen gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Wen lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Wen hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Wen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wen throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Wen ties up his opponent.  Wen throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wen is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Wen lands a solid left hook.  
Wen is on target with a right hook.  
Mei throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mei's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Mei's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mei's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mei switches the action to the outside.  Wen stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Mei attempts to land a jab, but Wen parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Wen lands a firm left uppercut.  
Wen lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mei recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Wen advances into close range.  Wen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Wen drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Wen lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Wen ties up his opponent.  Wen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wen to stop holding.  Mei almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Wen gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Mei steps away from his opponent.  Wen lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mei almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Wen gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Wen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Wen steps inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Mei lands a left hook.  
Wen lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Wen is looking to close the distance.  Wen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Wen advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Wen lands a left uppercut.  
Wen lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Wen lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Wen closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Mei drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.

As Wen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mei dabs at his face checking for damage.

Mei throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Wen's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Wen digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.

Wen closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wen hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Wen lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Wen pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a FIERCE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MEI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Wen could be enough to force the stoppage!  Wen lands a SAVAGE left uppercut.  MEI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MEI CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Wen!
