Alejandro Tapia vs Macario Prado

Boxing Daily Report from the Burja Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Pinto, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 23/12/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Tapia (16(1) - 4) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Macario Prado(10 - 7(3) - 3) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Tapia weighed in at 147 pounds, while Prado weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Conrado, and the three ringside judges are Angel Marto, Ryo Oquendo and Gonzalo Bosque.  

Round 1: 

Prado closes the distance and forces Tapia to back into the ropes.  Tapia lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
