Paul McArdle vs Cillian Maguire

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Connacht promoted show at Nathan Quinn Gym, Galway,  taking place on 27/12/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Connacht Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul McArdle (6 - 3 - 2) who hails from Galway, Ireland and Cillian Maguire(4 - 9) from Galway, Ireland.  Both McArdle and Maguire weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shamus McCaleb, and the three ringside judges are Ross Fitzgerald, Fionn Madden and Paul Mahoney.  

Round 1: 

Maguire gets on the inside.  Maguire pivots from in front of his opponent.  McArdle digs in a right hook to Maguire's body.  
McArdle tries to land a right uppercut, but Maguire parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
McArdle is looking to close the distance.  McArdle pivots to the right of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Maguire has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
