Rex Akintonde vs John Salihu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Edo State promoted show at Benin City Wuraola, Benin City,  taking place on 03/01/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Edo State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Akintonde (32(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Benin City, Nigeria and John Salihu(12 - 2) from Benin City, Nigeria.  Akintonde weighed in at 140 pounds, while Salihu weighed in at 139 pounds and 8 ounces.
