Jean-Baptiste Carel vs Bonar Queneau

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at University of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, Touba,  taking place on 26/12/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jean-Baptiste Carel (3(1) - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Bonar Queneau(3 - 3) from Pikine, Senegal.  Carel weighed in at 147 pounds, while Queneau weighed in at 147 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Horace Auras, and the three ringside judges are Garland Malot, Larrimore Hippe and Olier Sidibe.  

Round 1: 

Carel steps inside.  Queneau throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Carel lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  As Carel tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Queneau dabs at his face checking for damage.

Carel steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  Carel clinches his opponent.  Carel pushes his forearm into Queneau's face.  The ref breaks Carel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carel is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Carel lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Carel clinches his opponent.  Carel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Carel pushes his forearm into Queneau's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Carel to stop fouling.

Carel holds on to his opponent.  Carel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Carel closes the distance and manouvers Queneau into a corner.  Carel lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Queneau connects with a right uppercut.  
Carel advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Carel lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Carel throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Carel clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Queneau pushes his forearm into Carel's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carel manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Carel lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Queneau's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Queneau's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Carel gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Carel is looking to close the distance.  Carel lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Carel holds on to his opponent.  Carel tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Queneau behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Carel.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Queneau dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Queneau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carel lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Carel lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Carel lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Carel forces Queneau to retreat into a corner.  Queneau is on target with a cross.  
Carel advances into close range.  Carel sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Queneau throws a right uppercut, but Carel clinches his opponent.  Carel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Carel hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Carel lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Queneau tries to keep the action at long range.  Carel is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Carel SLAMS a HUGE cross into his opponents face.  QUENEAU IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Queneau now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Carel walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Carel lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Carel sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Queneau throws a right hook, but Carel holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Carel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carel advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Carel ties up his opponent.  Carel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Carel drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Queneau pivots from in front of his opponent.  Carel lands two straights to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Carel advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carel is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Queneau's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Queneau's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Queneau walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Carel EXPLODES a FEROCIOUS cross into his opponents face.  QUENEAU IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Carel!
