Boxing Daily Report from the Wicker promoted show at Soweto Van Jaarsveld, Soweto,  taking place on 06/01/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Thulani Shabangu (32(2) - 10(4) - 1) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Dewayne Mensah(17(4) - 16(5)) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Shabangu and Mensah weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ndumisa Ntuli, and the three ringside judges are Cole Twala, David Meer and Kyan Majola.
