Owen Newell vs Rob McCaig

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Wisconsin promoted show at Madison Hamell, Madison,  taking place on 06/01/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Newell (17 - 19(4) - 3) who hails from Madison, USA and Rob McCaig(28(14) - 11(2) - 1) from Madison, USA.  Both Newell and McCaig weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Quirke, and the three ringside judges are Richard Cavanagh, Theo Gwenn and Rex Applegarth.  

Round 1: 

McCaig advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  McCaig clinches his opponent.  McCaig pushes his forearm into Newell's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McCaig to stop fouling.  
McCaig advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
