Gethin Dennie vs Joaquin Solares

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 26/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gethin Dennie (41(29) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Joaquin Solares(24(13) - 4(3)) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Dennie and Solares weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Rafiq, and the three ringside judges are Noel Bertram, John Vaughn and Mason Boyter.  

Round 1: 

Solares advances into close range and tries to land a left uppercut, but Dennie sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Dennie steps away from his opponent.  Dennie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Solares is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Solares attempts to land a jab, but Dennie parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Solares gets on the inside.  Dennie lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Dennie tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Dennie's ribs.  
Solares sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Solares lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Solares throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Dennie steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Dennie lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Dennie finds the target with a jab.  
Dennie lands with a sharp jab.  
Solares is looking to close the distance.  Dennie pivots to the side of his opponent.  Dennie is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Dennie throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Dennie switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Dennie lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Solares gets on the inside and manouvers Dennie onto the ropes.  Dennie connects with a sharp right hook.  
Solares hits home with a right hook.  
Solares throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a mean cross.  SOLARES IS HURT!  
Dennie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Dennie is looking to force the stoppage!  Dennie lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Solares now seems to have got his legs back.  
Dennie steps to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Dennie lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  Dennie tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Dennie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dennie tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dennie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Dennie attempts to land a cross, but Solares dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dennie hits home with a sharp cross.  
Dennie SLAMS a FEROCIOUS cross into his opponents face.  SOLARES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Solares steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Dennie is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Dennie lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES SOLARES!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Solares has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Solares digs in a left hook to Dennie's body.  
Solares tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Solares digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Solares throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a big right uppercut.  SOLARES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Dennie knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Dennie lands a hurtful cross.  SOLARES IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Solares now seems to have got his legs back.  
Dennie lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Dennie lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dennie SLAMS a big cross into his opponents face.  SOLARES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Solares recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dennie is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Solares's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Solares's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Solares closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Solares is on target with a left uppercut.  
Dennie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Solares steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Dennie lands a solid right uppercut.  
Dennie switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Solares recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dennie finds the target with a jab.  
Dennie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND KNOCKS SOLARES DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Dennie!
