Joel McReynolds vs Alastair McAlpin

Boxing Daily Report from the Global Boxing Promotion promoted show at Village Resort Hotel, Blackpool,  taking place on 18/01/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel McReynolds (22(2) - 8(5) - 2) who hails from Blackpool, UK and Alastair McAlpin(32(22) - 13(6) - 1) from Preston, UK.  McReynolds weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while McAlpin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Housler, and the three ringside judges are Alec Platt, Brin Mickel and Mark Stoddart.  

Round 1:

McAlpin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  McReynolds wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McAlpin dabs at his face checking for damage.  McReynolds quickly recovers. 
McReynolds steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.
