Angel Malagon vs Jax Tafoya

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 26/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Destroying Angel Malagon (29(23) - 0) who hails from Coral Springs, USA and Jax Tafoya(33 - 13(3) - 1) from Valparaiso, Chile.  Malagon weighed in at 153 pounds And 11 ounces, while Tafoya weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Vaughn, and the three ringside judges are Noel Bertram, Zafa Rafiq and Mason Boyter.  

Round 1: 

Malagon hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Malagon hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Malagon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Tafoya feints a left hook, but Malagon is not fooled and lands with a cross.  
Malagon lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a cross to the head.  
Tafoya is looking to keep his distance and throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a spiteful right uppercut.  TAFOYA IS HURT!  
Tafoya forces Malagon to retreat onto the ropes.  Malagon knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Malagon lands two straights followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS TAFOYA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Tafoya now seems to have got his legs back.  
Malagon switches the action to the outside.  Tafoya tries to land a jab, but Malagon sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Malagon steps to the outside and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tafoya hits home with a left hook.  
Malagon is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Malagon lands a hard jab.  
Malagon tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Malagon switches the action to the outside.  Tafoya throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a powerful left uppercut.  TAFOYA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Tafoya recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Malagon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Tafoya manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Tafoya sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Malagon is on target with a potent cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE TAFOYA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Tafoya recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Malagon is looking to keep his distance and lands a hard jab.  
Malagon connects with a firm cross.  
Malagon connects with a solid cross.  
Malagon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Malagon is on target with a spiteful jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tafoya's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Tafoya's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Malagon strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Malagon is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Malagon senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Malagon lands two right hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING TAFOYA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.

It looks like Tafoya has now recovered from that shot earlier.
