Juan Escovedo vs Montego Motta

Boxing Daily Report from the PitBulls Promotions promoted show at HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 23/01/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Escovedo (12(8) - 0) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Montego Motta(2 - 1) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Both Escovedo and Motta weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Samudio, and the three ringside judges are Saturnin Pintor, Jax Carlos and Tajo Cotta.  

Round 1: 

Escovedo closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Escovedo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Escovedo pushes his forearm into Motta's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Escovedo gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Escovedo holds on to his opponent.  Motta tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Escovedo's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Motta to stop fouling.
