Kentay Andam vs John Gyan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 23/01/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kentay Andam (21 - 18(3) - 5) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and John Gyan(5 - 7(1) - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Andam and Gyan weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Otieno Adomah, and the three ringside judges are Louis Nkrumah, Tamarius Ankomah and Zuffur Abood.  

Round 1: 

Andam switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Andam feints a left, and then tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gyan dabs at his face checking for damage.  Gyan has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  
Andam is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Andam steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.
