Andy Cainghug vs Cortez Lesaca

Boxing Daily Report from the Poku Promotions promoted show at Santiago Dimayacyac Gym, Cabuyao,  taking place on 01/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andy Cainghug (17 - 17 - 3) who hails from San Pablo, Philippines and Cortez Lesaca(4 - 6 - 1) from Cabuyao, Philippines.  Both Cainghug and Lesaca weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Orlando Arrendondo, and the three ringside judges are Nemesio Castrillo, Olindo Isip and Cruz Borbon.  

Round 1: 

Cainghug walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Cainghug hits home with a left hook.  
Lesaca throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Cainghug strikes his opponents body with a cross.  Cainghug attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Lesaca's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
